TIZIANA MONETA and GABRIELE ROTA form an internationally renowned piano duo who recently celebrated thirty-five years of career.
The two pianists, raised at the schools of Carlo Pestalozza, Jörg Demus, Ilonka Deckers and Aldo Ciccolini for piano and at that of Vittorio Fellegara for composition, have a repertoire that includes original works and composer's versions of chamber and symphonic masterpieces.
Their talent and versatility have led them to perform in the most prestigious concert halls in Italy and abroad, with tours in Germany, Hungary, United Kingdom, Portugal, Croatia, Poland, Romania, Spain, Russia, Turkey and Ukraine. They also present first performances of contemporary music in the most important Festivals.
Among their several recordings (available on all digital platforms) the complete works for piano duo by Debussy, Ravel and Dvořák are to be remembered, as well as works by Brahms, Mendelssohn, Stravinsky and the most important Italian musicians.
